Booking Your Holiday
All this is to ensure that when you make a booking to stay with us you are
fully committed to enjoying yourselves in our unique and beautiful part of the
world. Part of this commitment - and of our commitment to you - is your
understanding of the terms and conditions set out here BY PHONE For calls made within Western Australia telephone (08) 94078193 A telephone call to Holiday Home is the quickest and most efficient means of ascertaining availability We can take your enquiries between 9am and 9pm any day of the week if no one is home please leave a message. Tentative bookings can be held for a maximum of 5 days. BY MAIL/EML Contact us by eml or fill in your details on the (Booking & Enquiry Form )and we will send details of the enquiry /booking to you immediately. Return the booking form to us with your deposit (if the date of commencement of the holiday is more than 6 weeks away) or full payment (if the date of commencement is within 6 weeks) to 9 Kanda plc Mindarie Keys West Australia 6030
INTERNATIONAL BOOKINGS We welcome guests from interstate and overseas. Should international guests wish to make a reservation prior to arrival in Western Australia they should Contact us by Eml or fill in your details on the Booking/Enquiry Form page and we will send details of the enquiry/booking to you immediately. Then post or eml the booking form to the above address together with either: a. Post bank draft made out in Australian dollars
and made payable to L Smith b. Bank Transfer (details on booking form ) PAYING FOR YOUR HOLIDAY 1. If you are making your booking more than 6 weeks prior to the date of commencement of the holiday, one third of the total tariff is required to confirm your booking. The balance is due exactly 6 weeks prior to your holiday. 2. If you are making your booking within 6 weeks of the date of commencement of the holiday, the full tariff is required to confirm the booking. All payments can be made by cheque, Bank Cheque, or Bank transfer c ancellationsImportant Notice: Once your booking has been confirmed and receipted your deposit is non refundable. If the booking is cancelled in writing more than 6 weeks from the date of commencement of your holiday you will be released from the liability for the full balance of hire. The deposit is non refundable. If you give written notice of cancellation less than 6 weeks prior to the date of commencement of your holiday and we are successful in finding guests to fill your place at the holiday home you will be released from the liability for the full balance of hire. The deposit is non refundable. We highly recommend that cancellation insurance is taken out to safeguard your investment in your holiday. Additional Points of Interest YOUR HOLIDAY The Holiday Home will be ready for occupation after 2pm on the day of commencement of the holiday, as shown on your confirmation. It is vital that you contact us at least 5 days prior to your arrival in order to arrange a mutually acceptable time to meet and collect the keys. We would ask that you vacate your holiday home by 10.30am on the date of termination of your holiday unless prior arrangement has been made. Note these times are flexible depending on bookings at the time. POWER AND WATER Charges for these services are included in the tariffs quoted unless otherwise stated as in Rates Table BATH TOWELS AND LINEN The Holiday Home will be provided with pillows, doonas, blankets, sheets, bath towels, and tea towels. Guests will need to supply their own beach towels . STEREOS, RADIOS, TELEVISION AND VIDEOS All electrical goods are listed for the Holiday Home and should be checked on arrival. If there is anything further you require , please ask and we will look into the hire of such items for you. PETS We regret that we are unable to accommodate pets in our Holiday Home. SMOKING The holiday day home is classed as non smoking , but we have no objection to you smoking in the outdoor area ash trays supplied. ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE AND BREAKAGE No one is more tolerant of accidental breakages (glassware, crockery etc)
than we are. In a sense, its part of "being on holiday". Damage to furnishings
and fittings may well be something else and we reserve the right to charge
guests with the costs of replacement, repair or otherwise bringing furnishings
and fittings back to the extremely high standard we have set. CLEANING Due to the limited time available to our cleaning we must insist that you leave the property clean and tidy at the end of your holiday. This condition is clearly stated under Special Conditions. In the event that the property is not left clean and tidy the guest will be billed for the extra time required for Caretaker cleaning. GROUP SIZE Under no circumstances may the number of persons at the holiday home exceed the maximum number of guests as stated in the holiday confirmation.
